Nothing@All
She’s feeling higher than Christ
She’s got a long way to fall
Just let me know when you’re leaving
I think there’s nothing at all
I think there’s nothing at all
He’s taken leave of his senses
No sense in leaving it here
When you can’t get through the defences
But you’re getting so burnt
You feel so damn near
She’s got fire in the work house
He’s got fire in the brain
He got a bullet-proof sky
She got bullet-proof son
They got removable stain
And did you doubt the troubled fictions
As they lined up their restrictions
At your door?
Hazy lines and fine distinctions
Jilted lovers, Richard Nixons
We all want more
I can’t take you for granted
What if we could undo?
You could leave any day
What if we could reason?
And I only catch fleeting glimpses
Something’s getting broken
Of things we needed to say
What if we could stay here?
Well, you may be dreaming rainbows in a cloudy sky
But you’d better make sure
‘Cos while we tidy it up, we’re just making a mess
And then we all want more
We’ve made it a mess now
We all want more
We’ve made it a mess now
We all want more
So, if they gave you my number
Why don’t you give me a call?
And let me know when you’re leaving
I think there’s nothing at all
Nothing at all
But we could take
We could take just a little bit
Take just a little but more
She’s feeling higher than Christ
She’s got a long way to fall
Just let me know when you’re leaving
Because there’s nothing at all.
So glad to have discovered this great band. Heard first on the Thought Radio show last week. Great melodies over powerful Prog Rock with many beautiful moments. This is something special. I am getting a bit of a Rush type vibe but much more also. What an album this is and I will need to get the CD also. Too many great tracks to chose a best one yet. thirdsystem
I am not new to Galahad but have lost touch with them after Beyond The Realms of Euphoria album, which still is my favorite release. But this release is just as good if not better. Galahad is one of the top prog acts around. A pleasure to add this to my musical collection. lloydd
Throwing mathcore, emo, and ambient into the mix, Estonia's Kaschalot push progressive rock's multitasking approach to its limits. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 10, 2021
Although the 3 guest vocalists on this album sing wonderfully, and the songs are diverse and creative, I still prefer the voice of Peter Falconer. Still, I highly recommend this album, aware that my preference is somewhat of a bias. Some of the guitar playing on here is incredible. Despite the new vocalists, the sound of this album is still distinctly Drifting Sun. Personally, I give it 7.5/10. Alrihkh
The first official outing of the "what would be" Steve Rothery Band. Riccardo Romano was missing with his keyboard wizardry and no singer at all (later Martin Jakubsky of Stillmarillion). Marillion's catalogue was represented by excerpts of instrumental sections where Steve had his solo spot. This is a milestone in the forming of a great band that later became the spokesman of early Marillion era and of course of Steve's solo material. If you want to hear how it all started you have to get this Alessandro Carmassi
