Angels & Acrobats
One, two, buckle my shoe
Getting ready for my date
Three, four, knock on your door
Won’t you soothe my fractured state?
Five, six, pick up sticks
Weighed down by my stupid tricks
Seven, eight, set things straight
Start again, wipe clean the slate
The angels and the acrobats
Look down, hey yah
No circus is complete
Without a clown, hey yah
Beneath this smiling makeup
Sits my silly twisted frown
Your laughter is the load I bear
To wear the idiot’s crown
Tomorrow’s yellow circle in the grass, hey yah
This show is leaving town
The band will play the opening chords
The ringmaster will start the show
You’ll find me in between the lions and the juggler
Like some middle child in dayglow
Cruel comic of the canvas court
Squeeze laughter from my own demise
And if I play my part just right
You know my tears will find your eyes
The angels and the acrobats
Look down, hey yah
The ancients and the astronauts
Look down, hey yah
Hidden gods and neophytes
The priestess and her acolytes
Militia drones and satellites
Look down, hey yah
The dreamers and the dispossessed
Look down, hey yah
The aimless and the great obsessed
Look down, hey yah
The puppets and the puppeteers
The wisemen and the racketeers
The bankrupt and their financiers
Look down, hey yah
Atheists and hierophants
The naysayers, the sycophants
All agents of entanglement
Look down, hey yah
If you fall down from on high
Turns out this was just a lie
When you think you’ll drown
You can’t look down
When you fall into the sea
Turns out that you’re just like me
If you can’t look down
You think you’ll drown
And I will meet your gaze
I will meet your gaze
I will meet your gaze
I will meet your gaze
I will meet your gaze
I will meet your gaze
I will meet your gaze

So glad to have discovered this great band. Heard first on the Thought Radio show last week. Great melodies over powerful Prog Rock with many beautiful moments. This is something special. I am getting a bit of a Rush type vibe but much more also. What an album this is and I will need to get the CD also. Too many great tracks to chose a best one yet. thirdsystem

I am not new to Galahad but have lost touch with them after Beyond The Realms of Euphoria album, which still is my favorite release. But this release is just as good if not better. Galahad is one of the top prog acts around. A pleasure to add this to my musical collection. lloydd
Throwing mathcore, emo, and ambient into the mix, Estonia's Kaschalot push progressive rock's multitasking approach to its limits. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 10, 2021

Although the 3 guest vocalists on this album sing wonderfully, and the songs are diverse and creative, I still prefer the voice of Peter Falconer. Still, I highly recommend this album, aware that my preference is somewhat of a bias. Some of the guitar playing on here is incredible. Despite the new vocalists, the sound of this album is still distinctly Drifting Sun. Personally, I give it 7.5/10. Alrihkh

The first official outing of the "what would be" Steve Rothery Band. Riccardo Romano was missing with his keyboard wizardry and no singer at all (later Martin Jakubsky of Stillmarillion). Marillion's catalogue was represented by excerpts of instrumental sections where Steve had his solo spot. This is a milestone in the forming of a great band that later became the spokesman of early Marillion era and of course of Steve's solo material. If you want to hear how it all started you have to get this Alessandro Carmassi
