Xombies
I’d like to tell you that I’d never betray you
But I already did
All the times you ever shook for no reason
Those were the places I hid
It’s wearing thin to say it’s always circumstantial
When I pushed you into the skid
I want you for me
Do you want me for you?
Watching xombies at daybreak
Watching Centre Court live
Both say God’s on their side
Watching pathogens dancing
Watching ships in the storm
Ride the wrecking tide
Watch for movements in shadow
Watch the trace of the heart
Carving green across black
Watching polar caps dying
Skating out across white
And there’s no turning back
And though you’ve watched this all happen
It’s not your story to tell
There’s only satellites in heaven
So she’ll meet you in hell
You know you seek absolution
She just can’t see the point
When the punishment fits
If you’re just wanting comfort
She will promise you now
She’s going to love you to bits
You wake up walking on tightrope
There’s a knot in your belly
She keeps deep down inside
Sometimes you think you’ve controlled her
But when you’re high on the wire
There’s nowhere to hide.
I am terror
I am yours
I am terror
I am yours
And if you see her walking through the city square
And if you see her dancing on the lights
And if you see her ride across the waves to you
And if you see her first
She lives in butterflies
She’s watching you
She lights the limbic
She lives in you
Tell her you need her
Tell her you care
Your dog’s grown tired of barking
Every flare has been fired
All your plans come undone
Every synapse is sparking
All your hopes have expired
She’s got you under her thumb
She’s got you tilting at windmills
Got you running in rings
Got you scared of the moon
Like petrol tankers that tailgate
She won’t let you forget
This could all end so soon
I am terror
I am yours
I am terror
I am yours
And if you see her walking through the city square
And if you see her dancing on the lights
And if you see her ride across the waves to you
And if you see her first
She is the endgame
She follows through
She’s fond of hiding
And so are you
Tell her you need her
Tell her you care
I hope one day you’ll forgive me
I hope one day you’ll see through
All these things that we do
There’s only one thing that matters
I want you for me
Do you want me for you?
I am terror
I am yours
I am terror
I am yours
Keep me safe, keep me safe
Keep me, keep me, keep me safe
And if you see her walking through the city square
And if you see her dancing on the lights
And if you see her ride across the waves to you
And if you see her first
So glad to have discovered this great band. Heard first on the Thought Radio show last week. Great melodies over powerful Prog Rock with many beautiful moments. This is something special. I am getting a bit of a Rush type vibe but much more also. What an album this is and I will need to get the CD also. Too many great tracks to chose a best one yet. thirdsystem
I am not new to Galahad but have lost touch with them after Beyond The Realms of Euphoria album, which still is my favorite release. But this release is just as good if not better. Galahad is one of the top prog acts around. A pleasure to add this to my musical collection. lloydd
Throwing mathcore, emo, and ambient into the mix, Estonia's Kaschalot push progressive rock's multitasking approach to its limits. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 10, 2021
Although the 3 guest vocalists on this album sing wonderfully, and the songs are diverse and creative, I still prefer the voice of Peter Falconer. Still, I highly recommend this album, aware that my preference is somewhat of a bias. Some of the guitar playing on here is incredible. Despite the new vocalists, the sound of this album is still distinctly Drifting Sun. Personally, I give it 7.5/10. Alrihkh
The first official outing of the "what would be" Steve Rothery Band. Riccardo Romano was missing with his keyboard wizardry and no singer at all (later Martin Jakubsky of Stillmarillion). Marillion's catalogue was represented by excerpts of instrumental sections where Steve had his solo spot. This is a milestone in the forming of a great band that later became the spokesman of early Marillion era and of course of Steve's solo material. If you want to hear how it all started you have to get this Alessandro Carmassi
